Primary focus of EPF Institute is to meet the training and development needs of EPF's staff. The EPF Institute runs various programs designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitude of the EPF staff so that they continue to be competent to produce expected results.

The institute also organises public courses and seminars on topics related to the EPF Act and social security issues. It also rents out its training facilities to interested parties.
