Muslim members are advised to nominate Muslim nominees in order to avoid any disputes. According to Islamic law, non-Muslims are not allowed to receive a Muslim’s inheritance. However, if the nominee nominated by the member dies, the EPF will pay the non-Muslim nominee as an administrator.
