| The following steps will guide you to register i-Akaun as either a Member or Employer: Member |

| Eligibility to Register for i-Akaun | Any Malaysian citizens residing in Malaysia who have valid EPF number, except for those who: | | | - Have made full withdrawal, i.e. there is no balance in their EPF Account;
- Have permanent residents (PR) status; and
- Are non citizens.
| | Steps to Register for EPF Members | | | - Visit the Smart Kiosk or Counter to generate your own Activation Code.
- Visit the EPF website again to activate your i-Akaun before the expiry date.

| Eligibility to Register for i-Akaun | Any business registered with the Malaysian Registrar of Business (ROB), and which has valid EPF Number. | | | | Steps to Register for EPF Employers | | | - Register i-Akaun for Employer at the EPF website.
- EPF will email or mail you the details of your Activation Code for confirmation purposes.
- Visit any of the EPF offices together with a copy of the email / letter which you have received to collect the Activation Code. Please bring the required documents as stated in the email / letter.
- Activate your i-Akaun before the expiry date. You must use the same password used during registration. Please write it down and keep it safely.
