| Withdrawal by Pensionable Employees |
|
If you are eligible to receive pension under the Government Pension Scheme, you may want to take note that your EPF savings may also include the government’s share, which has not been deducted to be refunded to the Pension Fund.
This government share will only be deducted from your EPF savings when the EPF receives a written instruction from the Pension Division, Public Service Department.
You can still apply for this withdrawal upon reaching age 55 years. However, you are reminded that the government’s share that is paid to you will be recovered by the government from your gratuity and pension (if not sufficient) when you retire.
