Example of Calculation of Amount Eligible to Withdraw

Example of Individual Construction of a House
Encik Azman constructed a house costing RM75,000.00 and obtained a housing loan of RM60,000.00. His total EPF savings in his Account II is RM18,000.00. Therefore, the amount of savings that he can withdraw is:

Since Encik Azman has only RM18,000.00 in his Account II, which is lower than the maximum amount eligible for withdrawal i.e. RM22,500.00, Encik Azman can withdraw the full amount of his savings in Account II which is RM18,000.00.
