The EPF is committed to ensuring the standard of corporate governance are practiced throughout the organisation in line with its role to protect members' retirement savings. To achieve this, the EPF continues to spearhead efforts for sustainable investments and champion issues of Environmental, Social and Governance in its investment decisions.
The EPF believes that a sound corporate governance framework promotes strong leadership by the Board of Directors and good management practices, which will in turn contribute to enhancing accountability, transparency and long-term success of the organisation.
Several initiatives have been implemented in an effort to raise awareness on corporate governance and the adoption of good corporate governance practices. These initiatives include:

• Integrity Pillars
• Organisational Integrity Assessment
The EPF's corporate governance standards were drawn from various best practices, particularly from the following references:
