EPF Johor Bahru to Close Temporarily from 6 December 2020
KUALA LUMPUR, 06 December 2020: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) regrets to inform that an employee at its Johor Bahru branch has been tested positive for COVID-19. The employee is now receiving treatment for recovery while contact tracing is currently underway.
Following this update, the EPF Johor Bahru branch (office and counters) will be temporarily closed until further notice. This is following instructions from the Ministry of Health for the management of the premise to conduct disinfection and sanitisation. Members who have made prior appointments are advised to log onto the Janji Temu Online facility to reschedule their visits to a later date. Members may also visit other EPF branches in Johor, which continue to operate as usual, or transact online via i-Akaun for selected services.
The EPF is taking the necessary steps to ensure the health and safety of its employees and members of the public. All employees of EPF Johor Bahru will be taking the COVID-19 swab test, and if found positive, will undergo the mandatory 14-day quarantine as per the guidelines by the National Security Council (MKN). All EPF branches will continue to strictly observe physical distancing and other preventive SOPs in mitigating the spread of COVID-19.
