KUALA LUMPUR, 9 November 2020: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) wishes to inform the public that an employee at its Klang branch office has been tested positive for COVID-19. The employee is now undergoing treatment for recovery.

Following this update, the EPF has closed the Klang branch (office and counters) for one day on 10 November 2020, to conduct disinfection and sanitisation. Members who have appointments at EPF Klang scheduled on 10 November 2020 are requested to log onto the Janji Temu Online facility (www.kwsp.gov.my/janjitemu) to reschedule their visits. The branch will reopen to members on 11 November 2020, from 9 am – 2 pm.

Meanwhile, the EPF will continue to take the necessary steps to ensure the health and safety of our employees and members of the public. Employees of EPF Klang who were identified as close contact have gone through the COVID-19 swab test, and are currently undergoing the mandatory 14-day quarantine period as per the National Security Council’s (MKN) guidelines. All other employees of the said branch are also instructed to through COVID-19 testing.
