EPF Continues Dividend Payments Beyond Age 75

The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) wishes to clarify that a statement about EPF dividend payment until age 75 which is being recirculated over cyberspace is no longer applicable. EPF may transfer any unclaimed savings of a member to the Registrar of Unclaimed Money when the member has attained the age of 100 years. Members who maintain their savings in the EPF will continue to receive dividends until the unclaimed savings are transferred to the Registrar of Unclaimed Money. Members may apply with the EPF to withdraw their savings at any point of time before the transfer is made to the Registration of Unclaimed Money.
