Becoming A Registered Employer
Compile and prepare the documents required, and visit the nearest EPF Counter to register as an EPF Employer.

Register and fulfill your responsibilities with ease
Employers are required to register with the EPF within 7 days from when they first hire an employee.
An employer shall register with the EPF within 7 days from the date the employer becomes liable to contribute, that is as soon as an employee is employed.

Compile and prepare the documents required, and visit the nearest EPF Counter to register as an EPF Employer.
*Companies registered with SSM and have registered as EPF Employers online can view the employer registration information here.
An employer can apply to be registered under more than one employer's reference number to facilitate the monthly contribution payments.

In addition to employer registration, you will be registered/will need to register as an user to facilitate you to pay contributions online.
Forms can be obtained at the EPF counter or Website.
Employer's representative submits documents to EPF officers for registration
The EPF Officer rectifies the following documents:-
EPF Officer register i-Akaun (Majikan)
Employer's representative will receive the activation code via SMS on the registered mobile phone
Employer's representative to active i-Akaun (Majikan) via myEPF within 30 days of registration.
TAC Activation
Transaction Authorisation Code (TAC) will be used for certain transactions on i-Akaun to ensure data security.
Example:
When a member or employer uses a Forget User ID or Password function, the TAC will be sent via a short messaging system (SMS).
Employers can register their mobile numbers via i-Akaun or at any EPF counter.
Employer has registered i-Akaun
Employers who have registered a mobile phone number for TAC may make updates via i-Akaun or any EPF counter by filling in Form KWSP 1(i).
Part of your responsibility as an employer is to register your previously unregistered employees before the first contribution is made.
There are various ways to register your employees.
Upon completion of form A which includes entering details such as MyKad number and employee’s name as per MyKad, employees who have not registered will be automatically registered with the EPF.
This method is only applicable to Malaysians and Permanent Residents with MyKad.
Using the relevant forms, you can register your employees at the EPF Counter or mail when they meet the following criteria..

This option requires the employees to be present at the EPF counter, where they need to give their MyKad and the registration will be done using the MyKad chip.
Once confirmed, the employees will receive their EPF membership number.
The Employer Reference Number must be presented when making any EPF contribution or in any dealings with the EPF.
