Temporary Closure of Seri Petaling Branch and New Counter Operating Hours Under MCO

KUALA LUMPUR, 11 May 2021: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) is temporarily closing its Seri Petaling office and counters from Tuesday, 11 May 2021 until further notice, after an employee at the branch was tested positive for COVID-19.

This is following instructions from the Ministry of Health for the management of the premise to conduct disinfection and sanitisation. The employee is now under treatment for recovery while contact tracing is currently underway.

In addition, starting 16 May 2021 until 7 June 2021, counter operating hours under the Movement Control Order (MCO) will be from 8.30 am until 3.00 pm. This is effective for all EPF branches nationwide.

Members are advised to transact online via i-Akaun for selected services or reschedule their visits to a later date via the Janji Temu Online facility if there is a need to be present at EPF branches in person.

All EPF branches will continue to strictly observe physical distancing and other preventive SOPs in mitigating the spread of COVID-19.
