Every time the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) announces its annual dividends, the first thought on your mind is likely: “How much will be credited to my account this time?

If you are a contributor in Malaysia, checking your annual dividend is a smart way to monitor your future financial standing. Dividend distributions are made based on EPF’s investment performance throughout the financial year. Positive investment results naturally give members greater confidence that their retirement savings will continue to grow.

Before you start

This digital facility allows you to check or download your statements online via the KWSP i-Akaun app or the i-Akaun (Member) web portal, without the need to queue at the counter.

How to check your dividends online

After EPF announces the dividends, you’re probably eager to see the credited amount. The transaction details for all three accounts — Akaun Persaraan, Akaun Sejahtera, and Akaun Fleksibel will be displayed in detail in your Member Statement.

One important point to remember: the dividends announced this year actually relate to your savings from the previous year.

For example, if the dividend is announced in 2026, the amount will be credited to your EPF account and appear in the Member Statement for 2025. So don’t be surprised if you don’t see the figures in the current year’s statement! You simply need to select the previous financial year to view the transaction details.

To check your dividends, you can choose one of the following methods:

1. KWSP i-Akaun mobile app:

This is the fastest and most convenient way to check your dividends, right from your smartphone. There are two menu options you can use:

a) Via the Home Page

 

b) Via the Savings Menu

EPF dividend guide: select Savings, tap View Details, choose year (e.g. 2025), then check account summary.

 

2. i-Akaun (Member) web portal:

If you prefer using a desktop or laptop:

 

💡 Important: Ensure that the TAC phone number registered with EPF is your own, active, and up to date to ensure a smooth statement download process.

For members residing overseas

Don’t worry. Even if you are currently living or working abroad, the checking process remains the same via the KWSP i-Akaun app or the i-Akaun (Member) web portal, as long as your account is still active and you have a stable internet connection.

If you do not have access to these facilities, you may submit a statement request through the Enquiry channel on the official EPF website.

Having trouble logging in to i-Akaun (Member)?

There is no need to panic if you encounter difficulties accessing your i-Akaun (Member). You may take the following steps:

  • Update the application: Ensure the KWSP i-Akaun app on your device is updated to the latest version to maintain smooth system functionality. 
  • Self-service action: Use the “Forget User ID/ Password” function on the login page to reset your account details.
  • Digital assistance: Submit an enquiry via the official website or contact EPF through its WhatsApp KWSPMalaysia channel.
  • In-person assistance: Visit your nearest EPF office for direct assistance at the counter.
