Users must activate i-Akaun Secure by completing the device linking process (e.g., smartphone or tablet). New users of the KWSP i-Akaun app, as well as existing users who change or lose their device, must complete this linking process. A 6-digit TAC will be sent via SMS to finalise the setup.
It is recommended that users use mobile data or Wi-Fi with a stable internet connection to ensure a smooth device linking process.
6. Can transaction approvals via i-Akaun Secure be done on another device?
Yes, users can use the KWSP i-Akaun app on another device, such as a tablet, provided that the device linking process has been completed. Additionally, the phone number registered with the EPF must have cellular service to receive the SMS containing the TAC required for device linking.
7. Do existing KWSP i-Akaun app users need to activate i-Akaun Secure through the device linking process?
